It Wasn't to Bee

Sooooo…

This is not an easy message to write.

Over the past number of weeks, we have done everything in our power to find a way to bring Well B Festival to life this April. It was incredibly important to us that, in a time like this, we showed up for the community and created a space for people to come together.

We have been working closely with all the relevant authorities throughout, exploring every possible avenue to make the festival happen safely and responsibly.

Over the past week in particular, we also worked tirelessly to reshape the event into a smaller, more intimate format in an alternative venue. Our hope was to still create a space for the hive to gather, even in a more compact way.

But despite every possible effort, the reality is that even this is no longer possible at this time.

As a result, we have been left with no choice but to postpone Well B Festival until later in the year.

This decision has been heartbreaking.

Dubai is a city defined by its resilience. Time and time again, we see how this community responds when faced with challenges. People come together, they support one another, and they find a way forward. That spirit has been a constant source of inspiration for everything we are building with Well B.

Well B was never just an event. It is something that has been built together with all of you, a shared vision rooted in movement, connection, energy and community. That is what makes this so hard.

We want to sincerely thank you for the support, encouragement, friendship and genuine passion you have shown for Well B from the very beginning. The way this community has come together around the idea of the hive has been truly special.

We also want to recognise our team, a group of very busy bees who have worked around the clock behind the scenes, exploring every possible option, adapting, problem solving and doing everything they could to make this happen. A true hive in every sense.

We also want you to know that we are here for the community beyond just this event. We understand that the events of the past few weeks will have come as a blow to many of you, both personally and professionally. If there is anything at all we can do to support you, your team or your community in any way, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

While we are devastated, we are not defeated.

We will take a moment, dust our wings off, and come back stronger later in the year, when it’s safe to do so, with the Well B Festival exactly as it was meant to be, at the right time, in the right environment, for the community it was built for.

We truly hope you will be there with us when we do and we’ll be in touch in the coming months as we navigate this together.
