FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Well B Festival is proud to announce that BATL Promotions will host BATL of Nations as the headline combat sports event during this year's festival, bringing elite international boxing to Meydan Racecourse on 4 April 2026.
Taking place as the sun sets over Dubai's most iconic sporting venue, BATL of Nations will deliver a world-class fight night inside the wider Well B Festival experience, where thousands of fitness fans, athletes, and wellness enthusiasts gather for a full day of movement, inspiration and community.
The event will feature:
- Two WBA Intercontinental title fights
- An eight-nation one-night elimination boxing tournament
- Fighters representing countries from across the world
- Global broadcast distribution reaching more than 120 million homes
For Well B Festival, the addition of BATL of Nations represents a powerful moment where sport, competition and community collide on a global stage.
A Natural Fit for the Well B Movement
Well B Festival was created to celebrate the global wellness community and the power of collective energy. From sunrise yoga and run clubs to strength challenges, recovery zones and educational seminars, the festival brings together people who believe in living better, moving more and pushing boundaries.
Combat sports are a natural extension of that philosophy.
BATL of Nations will transform Meydan Racecourse into an arena for international competition, where fighters representing their nations step into the ring in pursuit of titles, pride and career-defining opportunities.
The event format aligns closely with Well B's own ethos of the hive: a community where individuals come together to create something bigger than themselves.
World-Class Title Fights
The fight card will feature two major WBA Intercontinental title bouts.
In the main event, Hovhannes Bachkov, currently ranked among the world's top five by the WBA, faces dangerous challenger Rubén Néstor Muñoz.
An Olympic bronze medallist with championship pedigree, Bachkov enters the ring looking to move one step closer to world title contention. Across from him stands Muñoz, a relentless pressure fighter determined to disrupt that trajectory.
The co-main event will see Anahit Aroyan, currently ranked number two in the world by the WBA, take on formidable challenger Alice Mbewe, also with the WBA Intercontinental belt on the line.
With world rankings hanging in the balance, both fights carry genuine global implications.
The BATL of Nations Tournament
Alongside the title fights, BATL Promotions introduces a format built for intensity.
Eight nations. One night. One winner.
The BATL of Nations Prizefighter Tournament will follow a single-elimination structure:
- Quarter-finals
- Semi-finals
- Final
Each bout advances the bracket. One loss ends the journey.
Fighters will compete under professional rules while representing their countries in a tournament designed to deliver urgency, drama and international pride.
The format also reflects BATL's core philosophy: creating opportunity without restriction. Fighters remain free to represent their existing teams and promoters, with the event acting as a global platform rather than a closed promotion.
From Sunrise Movement to Fight Night
BATL of Nations will take place within the wider Well B Festival programme, which transforms Meydan into a multi-zone wellness playground throughout the day.
Across the festival grounds visitors will experience:
- Bootcamps and fitness classes led by Dubai's leading gyms
- Recovery and longevity activations
- Health and performance seminars
- Run clubs and community challenges
- Music, food and social experiences
As the day builds toward evening, the energy shifts toward the arena where the festival culminates with world-class boxing under the lights.
Global Broadcast
The event will be broadcast internationally through AYOZAT, delivering the spectacle from Dubai to audiences across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and beyond.
With world rankings on the line, national pride at stake and an international tournament format, BATL of Nations is expected to attract significant global attention from boxing fans and media alike.
From the beginning, Well B has been about bringing communities together through movement, sport and shared energy. Boxing embodies that spirit perfectly. BATL of Nations introduces an international dimension that aligns beautifully with the ethos of the festival. Fighters representing their nations, competing on a global stage, in front of a community that celebrates strength, resilience and human potential. It's going to be an unforgettable moment for everyone involved.
